Ch. Manorborn's Excalibur "Blade"
Sire: Ch. Little Pond's Chief
Dam: Ch. Manorborn's Ltl Bit Nuts

Blade was and always will be a special dog to our family. After finishing his championship he went on to live, show, and stand at stud in Tokyo, Japan.

Blade never showed a lot of over excitement for anything except to play with both of our sons. At those times he would run around like he had a fire under his tail playing his own version of tag with them. The rest of the time he always tried to have an aloof attitude, but watched everything going on around him. You might say he seemed stoic. This earned him the nickname “super cool.” Mary had a lot of fun showing him, and when put in a stack he would stand like a marble statue, only moving his eyebrows. He is also most definitely a powerhouse, pulling himself over the end of furniture with just his front legs and shoulders. His rear legs he would just let dangle in the air. He always made it look very easy to pull his compact and muscled body over anything he wanted.

Besides winning his championship, Blade won the Bred-by Exhibitor Dog of The Year for 2003 from the Bulldog Club of Denver. Blade also took a 1st place at one of the back-up shows to the 2002 Bulldog Nationals with Mary showing him.
